    hello forum,
Yesterdat i installed virtualbox and i am using linux ubuntu in my virtual machine i created.
I use a 3g dongle on my laptop and ive noticed it picks up an unidentified network.
    Is this usual for virtualbox?
It never happened before installing the virtualbox.
What exactly does virtualbox install and does it change the network adapters in any way.?
Ive looked in device manager and i notice virtualbox has inserted a ethernet adapter.
Are all these things ok.this is my first time in using virtualbox.
    Kind Regards to everyone.

The drivers that Virtualbox installs allows for network functionality with your Guest OS. It is perfectly normal and needed. You can read more about it here -http://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch02.html#installation_windows-
