From the looks of the image you posted, TH, they already have changed it. ;)

I think he's referring to the copyright date.

Not everyone is getting this new version, due to a "metered release" system that GFI is following.
Curious to know if everyone here has it already?
I have it on one machine but not the other.
Sometimes there have been issues with not being able to update, so I am curious to know.

Yes, I got it via notification from program's updater on the 14th :thumb:

Ended up downloading it myself and upgrading my install, Vipre auto uninstalled old version and installed new one.

Quick scan seems to be a little bit slower than I remember but apart from that all seems okay. Some previous versions have been a bit reluctant to release connection after updating, this one releases after the update.

    Hi stapp,
So your program was not auto-updating (or at least not offering the update to you), when you decided to install new version? I'm still waiting. Probably should just do what you did, but would like to hear from GFI if they are still metering the release. :doubt:

Yes, I believe we have currently released it to 25% of the user base and will increase it another 25% next week. If you'd like to install it now, you can just download and run the installer.

    Thanks for the input, Nick.
I may just wait it out for another week or two, just to see when it comes trickling down the pipe.

@Page42, no I was still waiting so decided not to wait any longer as it could have been weeks before I got it!!

By the way, just for clarification, when I mentioned about Vipre not releasing connection after an update I was referring to the daily definition updates.

Right. That's what I thought. Same thing I'm faced with.
Even though Nick has explained that...
... I'm of the opinion that they are going waaay too slow, and maybe ought to hire more support personnel to handle the requests for help if it is gonna take this long to push out a version update. :ouch:

Good Morning ! Just an observation...in my opinion...I have a feeling GFI has their interests primarily in the Enterprise market...and Vipre for the Consumer Mkt is perhaps a different priority. In years past under Sunbelt's and Alex Eckleberry's leadership the product was promptly updated and released as promised and their support and post sales followup in troubleshooting problems was usually it seems; quickly resolved. I feel because of current market conditions...that companies have too prioritize their customer base to reflect in a positive manner...on the almighty bottom line...just business as usual i guess.Having said that,Nick still provides us with a valuable and constant presence here at Wilders...and that alone wins Sunbelt/GFI my loyalty.Sincerely...Securon

I got tired of waiting to see if the metering process would ever get around to offering me the new release via the internal updater. I installed 5.0.5134 manually. And I have yet to see a changelog. A couple of weeks ago, KennyT on the VIPRE forum said,
Maybe I'm not looking in the right place.
