When my Firefox starts it goes to about:blank. From there it's a toss up

I use multiple browsers – so apart from the browser home pages such as about:blank or Startpage.com – this can vary from info\forum sites (Wilders > Ars technica > PC World > Zdnet) to checking Major Geeks for latest software releases.

I have my homepage set to Google.
A homepage needs to be uncluttered and quick to load.

You have to reply via data uri ;)

On a more topical note: Some folks use custom start pages (their own html file or an extension generated one) which provide links/gadgets that are customized to what they are most likely to want when they open their browser and/or a new tab. There are some remote services that provide custom start pages, but a local one can be better for privacy.

This is set as my homepage so I won't miss any good software being offered for free.
