Does this also mean that we will get 5 PC coverage? At least I cannot see a different offer for "complete" than 5 systems. I actually need more seats, so its not a problem for me but would be nice to know. Thanks :)

What is exactly the USB Shield? just an auto-run "disabler" or something more sophisticated?

Also, How works the Zero-Day Shield?

Quiet in here, I guess we are all waiting for the update?

It would be nice to know what to expect seeing as there appears to be increased functionality for all.
If I suddenly see some 'strange' pop-ups I might think that there is something amiss:rolleyes:

Very true and most users are behind a router so it's double the protection with no extra resources used or needed! The only reason I use LNS as it still works and I got it in 2004 one time payment but the future of LNS is up in the air and if I had to I would use Windows Firewall and WSA alone but that's the great thing about WSA it works with other security programs if the user does not want to use Windows Firewall freedom of choice. ;)

I just repurchased WSA AV (or whatever it's called now lol) and I like it so far. The firewall is a nice addition to the AV (or whatever it's called now) and I like it. My first impression on the new "Over view" screen, is that the running totals of how long I've been protected, but more specifically, the system events running total, seem really unnecessary...........I really, really wish there were a button to hide all of that stuff, as I could care less, and am not impressed by the 136 billion, trillion, zillion things that WSA AV (or whatever it's called now) has inspected. :doubt:

Really I kind of like it and how much do you open the GUI I don't unless something is caught. And it's still called Webroot SecureAnywhere Antivirus only the Essentials has changed in name to Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Plus. ;)

Yea, I'm just ball bustin' on the name change. :p I know it's really not important, as it's the performance that really matters, but a choice to show that stuff or not would be welcomed by me. That being said, right now, I love the lack of any system impact by WSA AV (or whatever....... :ninja: ) My machine feels like there's no AV installed.......Quite impressive!

2 processes that average 2-3MB, with very little disc I/O. My machine feels no different then when I had AppGuard installed with no AV. I would give it a 10/10 regarding system performance.

    Done!:D

Well sadly I have uninstalled it because of the added firewall to the antivirus "only"
edition, I thought this was suppose to be a antivruis only, not a suite

I tried to look at it as maybe I could use it and drop Look'nStop although I don't
    like programs becoming to heavy

My major reason for dropping was that I use Look'nStop for outgoing filtering and
it stops anything without auto allowing it

I even went in to the program setting and as a test set a program to be blocked
and when I fired up that program it went right onto the Internet and was not block

but as I said before I brought a antivirus NOT a firewall

oh, I did just turned it off but then on the main page and in the system icon
it had to push in my face that the firewall is turned off "@#$"

yes I know this, but this is what happens when extra ____ is introduce into
programs that actually need to be in a higher tier

if someone wanted them at the very least you should be asked during the
install if you want to install it or not

It does state quite clearly on the website that a firewall does come with the AV.Ive just looked myself and there doesnt appear to be an AV on its own.If you had read the descriptions you would have learned this.:isay: :thumb:

The 2012 version of WSA AV only didn't have the Firewall or Identity Shield but the 2013 does!

Sorry to hear guestthat you think it's a to big of an obstacle to leave WSA as I said you can use both as I do without issues or slowdowns. :doubt:
