I am currently using Acronis T.I. version 7 which I downloaded from their website for free. My question is what extra does version 9 have over version 7. (I know version 10 is now out but hear there are a few bugs to iron out?)
Also, If I upgrade, will I have to create another boot up cd or will the one I created with version 7 still do the job?

You have to create a new boot CD.

Files and Folders backup as well as imaging.
    Direct write to DVDs
Automatically validate an image after creating
    and as Ralphie said.

You probably will have to buy 10. Why not, it probably works as well as 9 and most of the teething problems will get sorted out.

Thanks for the info, think I'll go for version 9 and wait a while for 10.
