Yes that's why I never upgraded from freeware uTorrent to adware uTorrent. And I too just the last few months am a happy Transmission user.

 

This year I have written most of important document using LibreOffice from Debian repo, but I wanted to edit this document and add some instructions for Windows users. LibreOffice website had some issues therefore I couldn't download LibreOffice for Windows, but Google Cache had a link to torrent file for LibreOffice for Windows installer. That way I could finish my document without rebooting several times just to add some screenshots of Windows command line.
Month later I wanted to update LibreOffice, but downloading file bandwidth from website was circa 256kB/s. Downloading from torrent was much faster - circa 80MB/s which is my bandwidth limit imposed on that Internet connection, so it may be even faster for you.
