Using an open vpn plus utorent. Utorent has a setting to shut the computer off when downloads complete.

My Questions is, is this a secure way to shut the program off, when the computer shuts down dunno what programs shut off first. Is it possible your vpn could shut down first, leaving you ip exposed ??

It's hard to tell what will be shut down first. But even if your IP gets public it will be this way for a few seconds. My computer shuts down in less than 5 seconds so I guess it wouldn't even have time to get public IP and establish connection with any peer.
