The fact that I don`t fully understand the mechanism behind it and the various options, and the fact that it annoyed me once means it is OFF.

On at highest possible setting, but recently started using the incomparable SuRun to launch Windows 7 Admin-required utilities like Win fw, Local policy, services, etc..

I am Admin all the way, using DropMyRights or RunSafer, depending on which FW I am using at any given time.

    UAC is for sissies.

    Hello,

On my Vista machine, UAC is on. On XP, it's not included.

    Regards,

    Mark

Or, UAC is for those who understand the innerparts of what makes it work, and what it forces to happen.
