Using trial versions multiple times for testing, is it ethical/ moral?

    I think that some of you are misunderstanding what aigle means by "testing".
    I believe he is testing software for malware detection capabilities as opposed to testing to see if he likes a program.

    Understood, but hes not using it to clean up Malware, uninstall / re-install to clean up, uninstall / reinstall to clean up...

    Hes installing to test the virtues of the app, not its abilites to satisfy his infected PC.

    Nope. He was talking about install app A to test App B.

    True, but my liking inturn depends upon performance of the software.

    What I was saying is you were installing a trial of application "a" not to test it to see if it was to your liking, but to actually test application "b". Or did I misunderstand you.

    It was both. Sometimes I test application A itself to see where it stands and someimes i use it as a standard to test application B.
