Users thoughts on Windows OneCare...

But what would I replace Outlook with ? Yes I know I can send and receive email with XYZ and that ABC has a great todo list but for me Outlook is hard to beat - I like having mail, contacts and todo all together. willing to tryout any serious alternatives.

 

Just for a litle info. OneCare just released their beta for OneCare 2.0

I tried the 2.0 Beta last week before putting TMIS back on. Only difference I saw was that they added what they call OneCare Circle (multiple PC management), centralized backup, and online storage. It still doesn't back up to a second internal hard drive (Norton 360 does), just to an external hard drive or DVD.

 

OneCare is no good no mater what av-test says.

 

I replaced MS Outlook Express/2000 with Mozilla Thunderbird.
My very best replacement was Windows System Restore with FirstDefense-ISR, that changed my computer completely.

 

They mean Outlook (not Outlook Express or Windows Mail) . Outlook is not freely integrated in Windows OS , it is part of the paid Microsoft Office .

 

Does OneCare have any kind of password protection?
