user accounts and startups

hi, i created an administer account for myself on my dad's computer to have a look at windows 7. i want to disable some of the startup apps so i got autoruns. if i start disabling programmes from starting is there a chance it will disable his startups too? (running autoruns as admin) thanks.

edit. or - what's the easiest way to backup his startups?

 

my dad just booted in to his account and half my startups appeared on his desktop! you couldn't make it up lol it's a good thing i put his startups, on my desktop, in to a new folder.

surely there's a way around this? it's the registry, right?

edit. should i have used a standard user account instead? will that stop our startups clashing? i'm going to change my account type to standard.
