Use AC adapter to use laptop

    (Resolved)Use AC adapter to use laptop

    Hi,?Is it safe to use my laptop with AC adapter for long time.?(No battery install)Will it spoil my laptop?

    Many people do it. The problem is that power outs can bring errors in windows. Other than that you can use it that way till you get one.

    It's possible, but just like a desktop, so if there is power outage it will instantly turn off and there may be errors like tekkaman said. But it is supposed to be better for battery life, if you don't use the battery when AC adapter is available.

    For instance you could loose your work. Any program that is installing while the power went out will be corrupted etc. And it would be worrying if that happened while doing windows updates because that's dealing with system files.

    You meant power outage from my house that affect laptop power went out?

    Sorry about my english I'm not american haha. Basically power outage can cause those errors I described there.

    You can find batteries cheaper in websites like Ebay.
