Yes, it works like a charm on WinXP. Hides the drives of empty card-reader slots, too.

Hiding empty slots is good so that you don't have a long list of drive letters assigned to slots that you never use.

There's a better explanation about 2/3 of the way down this page:

Does it need to be running all the time or set and forget? Installs a service or driver?

Yeah, we know this GiveAwayOfTheDay crap, it only gives you a (mostly 30 days) trial period before it pops up that your trial period expired and closes again.

Don't let these GAOTD gadget flood your system, there only trialware in disguise !

Whatever you are on I want some!
Are you really serious about your comment?

    1. This is not GAOTD giveaway (crap or any crap at all).
    2. Have you even bother to read the first post or just you post anyway ?
    3. This is not trial and it's full version.
    4. The license for this version 4.1 and only for this version is lifetime !
    5. The developer of the prgram is know of such promotions ( previously several promotions and previously gave 1 year license(s), and not on GAOTD site ).
    6. If any other members come here it will tell you how good or bad is this program
    7. Have even tried this program previously and do you know at least for what purpose is it?

Looks pretty cool, but i uninstalled after 10 minutes. I just yank my USB sticks out without doing anything, plus i have shortcuts in Opus to jump directly to the drives from anywhere on my PC.

So not much need to have this running in the background all the time.

Ive had no such problems with GAOTD. If you do perhaps you did something wrong. I would contact GAOTD and see where things went wrong and what can be done.

    Editted for reasons of punctuation.
