Can Pilli or someone knowledgeable please help.

I was defragging my HD when I noticed a huge file being defragged and the path was to Port Explorer. I later checked the directory and found a file called 'capture' and it was designated as a bin file.

Here's the shock & awe - it is 1.9 gigabytes in size!!!!!

I'll probably delete it but I need to know how such a large file got into Port Explorer directory and if PE is responsible for it being there.

Does anyone know what this is?

Hi Dave, It looks like you have had spying enabled on a socket for a long period of time and so all the packets have accumulated into that .bin file.
    My current capture.bin is only 56K :)
You can safely delete the file as it will be re-created when necessary.
You can also limit the file & window logging in the settings menu.

    HTH Pilli.

Thanks Pilli. Really appreciate that. Saved me 2 gigs for other things.

    Regards

    Dave
