    Hi ....

I am in the process of loading xp using a bootcamp partition everything was going ok until I needed to eject the XP cd and I can't get it to eject...so the damn thing just keeps booting from the cd and going through the install motions again and again...I cant boot to my mac installation cos it just goes straight to the XP disc in my mac frustrated to say the least any advice would be great....

    thanks in anticipation...

There should be a small hole located somewhere on the front if the drive. Take the end of a straightened paper clip and push gently but firmly into the hole. This should manually open the door.

You could always change the boot order in the BIOS as well.

Both of course are only temporary solutions. Sounds like it is time for a new drive.

Sorry, have not finished my first cup of coffee this AM and missed the reference to MAC. Seems BlueZannetti has you covered.....at least according to MAC.
Have no idea if the BIOS suggestion even relates.
