I have ATI 8.800 & am planning to get 9.0.0.3567. Do I need to uninstall my current version (8.800) before I install v9 or can I just update over top of my current version? Thank you.

    Hello lvsunz,

Yes, I recommend uninstalling the previous version first. There is a minor issue with the TI 9 Home Build 3567 installer in that it can leave a few remnants of the previous version/build on your system.

    Regards

Isn't there still a problem that you loose all your V8 schedules and have to reprogramme them ? Or have they fixed that since I last checked ?

Hmm, I'm afraid I don't know about that as I never use TI's scheduling feature :doubt:.

    Hello lvsunz,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

As build 3567 of Acronis True Image 9.0 Home is based on a completely new software "engine" we recommend that you uninstall Acronis True Image 8.0 by following Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> Acronis True Image, install Acronis True Image 9.0 Home and re-create your scheduled tasks anew.

If you have any further questions concerning Acronis software, please feel free to submit a request for technical support or post any of them on this forum. We will certainly try to help you in resolving any issues.

    Thank you.
