    mean
    I thought we had incremental updates:)

    NOD32 2.x uses half incrimental system. This means it used several files for it's update and if one of these failed it had to re-download whole failed file again.
    Full incrimental means it can even resume downloading of each separate update file. Along with optimizatins for transfering of actual differences in updated files instead dedicated update files (even smaller downloads). Something like this...

    You might have noticed that 3-4 times per year NOD32 v2 downloads the whole engine which is currently about 6 MB in size. ESS always downloads only incremental updates if you update it on a regular basis.
