Just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing slow/hanging updates, or server failures?

Slowness started a few days ago, and a few minutes ago, I received *server connection failure* messages, for all the servers.

    Are there any server issues?

BTW... I'm using v2.50.25 on xp sp2. My firewall says the request is going out, but it just hangs.

Well, it may also be your connection fault! Other internet application, e.g. the web-browser is working properly? Or is it slow?

    Everything is normal... fast.
    System is clean.
    I have 6 servers... u2, 3, 4, 7, 82.165.250.33 & 82.165.237.14 (last one always gets a server connection failure lately).

    Strange.

82.165.237.14 seems a little "iffy" right now. :D

I have had the same problem on manual updates a couple of times. The problems not you but the servers especially but not limited to the ISP ones. Put these links in your favorites to check server status. http://ip2.users.whitehat.dk/server_status.php http://status.nod32usa.com/nod32_update_servers.php

Yup I`m having server issues too, 82.165.237.14 is the culprit. I do get the update so that`s the main thing.

    Thanks, Hammer.
That clarifies the situation, although the other servers are slower than normal.
Downloads used to be instantaneous, now I see them ;)
