Update not working

    I upgraded to spywareblaster 2.6.0 and I have been getting an error when trying to use the update feature for the last few days. All my settings are identical to the settings I used with the previous version. Is there currently a problem with the server? Thanks

    This is the error that I receive.:
    There was an error getting the update information file from the server. The server may be temporarily unavailable, or there may be a conflict with firewall software installed on your pc. The update file may have also gotten corrupted during download. Please try again soon.

    I am using zone alarm pro, but I have always used it with spywareblaster. I have only had problems since I installed V2.6.

    Hi JrzyCrim,

    Could you try if this helps. Download the files mentioned in the quote and replace the ones in your SpywareBlaster folder with them.
    I had no problem contacting the server.

    Thanks for the links. It seems I already had the most recent files but I usually got the message that no updates are available at this time. Oh well, I'm sure it'll work out. Thanks for your help. :)
