Update freeze on mod_compat.mod

After some help from you guys here I managed to get my local mirror update setup working, but this morning when I was updating the main server I came across this problem.

First, I updated my machine that is connected to the net, I then copied all the files from the mirror folder onto a thumb drive, then pasted these files into a local folder on a machine connected to the network.
I then did a manual update of the server which uses that mirror folder to update.
The update progresses well until it hits the mod_compat.mod file where it sits on %100 but never finishes and the update doesn't happen.

Any ideas?
