Update Error

    Just received this error message after receiving update 1.1085

    Now a manual update will not work and the error message pops up every time.

    1/05/2005 9:36:58 AM Update Error occurred while updating program modules (Update installation program failure.) BLACKSPEAR

    1/05/2005 9:35:57 AM Update Error occurred while updating program modules (Update installation program failure.) BLACKSPEAR

    1/05/2005 9:35:42 AM Update Error occurred while updating program modules (Update installation program failure.) BLACKSPEAR

    1/05/2005 9:35:33 AM Kernel The virus signature database has been successfully updated to version 1.1085 (20050501).

    1/05/2005 9:34:49 AM Update Error occurred while updating program modules (Update installation program failure.)

    1/05/2005 7:34:21 AM Kernel The virus signature database has been successfully updated to version 1.1084 (20050430).

    1/05/2005 7:34:11 AM Kernel Statistical information has been sent to Eset.



    Also receiving this error, though I think it is related to EMON not being able to properly handle a Hotmail Account drawn in through Outlook, even though I have seen Nod32 throw viruses into the infected folder and send off EWS files.

    I can still get the update server with no problems. You have a conflict somewhere.

    Just found the issue, it was to do with the old version of the Beta trying to update to the latest version. I made a manual update to the latest version and all is back to normal, other than the:

    EMON Attempt to save changes in email failed - error message.
