Unwanted connection attempt@ startup

    I have been getting an unwanted connection attempt to www.slizone.com
    It it a pain....when i bootup a browser window opens with the url and a connection is attempted......i understand it is a NIVIDIA site and i can block it with my firewall, but how do i make it go away............if i knew where it is i could delete it...

    Does it show up as an O4 entry in a HijackThis scan? If so, you can get rid of it that way.

    What operating system is this on ?

    Have you checked any of the Autostart locations ?

    just to name a few.

    Hoping to locate the startup problem I installed Startup Inspector. It found nothing. Any other ideas ?
