Universal Restore build 3832 feature removed?

    I don't get the

    "Installing Drivers" (Plug and Play Drivers) Features anymore when windows loads.... as was with build 3964-3718......

    Do You guys also have this.... and if yes....

    ACRONIS WHY REMOVEDo_O

    Acronis confirmed that they had to remove it because it gave alot of problems.... lets hope they fix it en re-add the feature again.

    So it means the only way to make it work is to force drivers in the first screen?
    Not too good, worked well for me.... I only had the popup once on a dozen tests though.

    Yes this would be the only way.......

    Because the automatic driver search only looks for Massstorage drivers and LAN Drivers.... in your specified network path...

    For this reason alone, i'm not gonna update to 3832.
    The one feature that's the most usefull for massdeployment, removed.
    Gees...
    I want it back like ALOT !!
    So it's back to messing with the devicepath again :thumbd: :thumbd:

    Please note that as you have mentioned there are some issues like the one described in this previous thread with keyboard and mouse, therefore, we decided to remove this option temporary. We are working on this issue and as soon as it will be fixed and tested most probably it will be included into the build of Acronis Universal Restore.

    Please note that Acronis Universal Restore is replaces HAL and mass storage device drivers, drivers for other devices such as Plug and Play devices will be installed when you load into the restored Windows operating system.
