Revo for a number of years has been my go to. Today I discovered HiBit and gave it a test drive. Very impressive app! In fact, so much so it has now taken up permanent residence on my laptop.
Same as what I found after using it the first few times after discovering high encouragements about it from our forum members. It's now common in my systems and so far is been the safest.
Another shout for HiBit. A year ago, I refused to have such software around. Now, I wouldn't think of being without it. I'm serious.
I do not think that the ideas from the time of Torquemada can be exposed on a cybersecurity forum! Anyway, we have nothing to discuss. I wish you all the best!
Sorry, there was a useless discussion before. Some people have a problem with the HiBit developer country, which is in my opinion totally obsolete!
Yes, as is the case w/Wise Vector (China). Actually, I respect that but do not agree--unless there is hard evidence. Whatever makes you content. HiBit dev. doesn't accept donations for his work b/c of Iran's restrictions, it seems. A shame. Hopefully, this changes some day, even though he claims this is his hobby.
The country matters, just like with VPN. I do not like it either, but since it is without a doubt the best uninstaller out there, I got over it. The fact, that he can not even afford a signature suggests, he is not payed by the government.
Couldn't agree more. Hat's off to Mr Raee for an outstanding app. The fact that he's alleged to be unable to even accept donations is a travesty. I do hope that changes, and soon, because this is an app worth supporting.
Im hooked on it totally now. Updates are swift. In fact it's use for me is cleaning junk files and registry on an almost daily or weekly basis. You got to find the backup registry feature to liking and it's been so safe I not needed to use it once.
I want to try HiBit Uninstaller, there are two versions: installable and portable. To get the most from it which one you recommend? TIA
I have no problem with the country of origin. HiBit seems to be one of the best uninstallers, if not the best. Reviews and the Wilders community confirm this. So I wonder why its author stays out of business. If you have the best product you can make money on it. Either alone or sell know-how or make a joint venture. The author did none of this. Instead he says that HiBit is just for pleasure and web design is his living. Sorry but that doesn't make sense to me.
Well I contacted him yesterday by email asking to come here and participate in is own thread and he responded saying he's a very busy man having a short time to work developing the program and replying emails. Also I added that users can help and give some advice to others freeing him of even more support work if he maintains a dedicated thread. He answered he'll consider it. I hope someday he accepts to come here. I believe he needs some extra little pushes from others
Awww. Well not too pushy, hopefully. I know over at MalwareTips, he came across as a very kind and humble person but also very reserved. I have a lot of respect for the HiBit developer. Would the govt allow such participation on a privacy-focused forum? Maybe I'm ignorant there, I dunno. He certainly participated at one time over on MT though not recently.
