Uninstalled CCleaner due to lost trust. Alternatives?

    Well, tried it, but it didn't clear my Chrome cache.
    I see no option to clear the Chrome History.
    As for the cookies, I want to keep some, but I didn't see a way to selectively delete them.

    There was no progress indicator while it was cleaning.
    The first time, I was wondering it if froze since nothing was displayed about some cleaning process.

    I assumed that was the case which gave me more reason to dump it, but I found the following host file entries on the web and along with that plus the normal firewall block it's fast again. We'll see how long that lasts.

    Don't forget 0.0.0.0 is faster than 127.0.0.1 in a HOSTS file (especially if you have a web server installed on your PC) and takes ever so slightly less memory as well.
