Uninstall v2.5 trial version without password

Hi,

I've recently inherited a computer with XP and Nod32 v2.5 trial version installed. Unfortunately, I can't uninstall the program as the settings are password-protected. THe last antivirus update was 16/10/2007, so I'd quite like to get rid of this program so I can update my PCs security settings!

Any info on how to uninstall this trial version as quickly as possible would be greatly appreciated.

Perform these instructions:

Download the Unlock utility for v2.7 (no matter you use 2.5).

One more thing - you mention you inherited a computer . Since you were not the owner/user of that machine , the best would be to format the hard drive and reinstall Windows from scratch . This is done so that you eliminate the risk of hidden infection , corrupted Windows or software , etc.
