Good luck to this project keeping up with upstream Chromium, I would not trust it.
It's already out of date. Like I said, they will not be able to keep up. This isn't a 1 man job, especially if that person "does not have much time".
It's a security risk, if you think the "privacy" benefits are worth it, you willingly take that risk. It's your choice.
Looks like the developer is requesting help, so lets spread the word:

I agree. We should not use Ungoogled Chromium anymore, at least until they (Eloston) can able to update to a more recent Chromium version.
