I've been trying to upload an installer to wikisend on one machine and no matter what browser I use I cannot upload it. I then tried other files and get the same result. I had no problem on another machine with a very similar setup, so what could be causing this?

I disabled Norton, exited out of VoodooShield and MB 3 just in case but that made no difference.

    Any thoughts?

    How big is the installer?

Also are you able to upload them in safe mode with networking ? (just to rule out 3rd party interference)

The one in question was 28 MB.
I'll try that and get back to you. I'm not sure this is it though because my other machine has the same security software installed.

    Thanks.

Nope! Even in Safe Mode with Networking I get this:

Does it start to upload the file? I just tested it myself with an installer of the same size, and I had no issues. It took about 5 minutes to upload it.

No, it just sits there for a few seconds then I get that error. The other machine was slow to upload but it did complete.

Possibly it could be a network driver issue which could be fixed by installing a driver update.

Do you have another user profile you could try uploading from?

Good idea. Or try a new profile with Firefox if you are using Firefox.

Updated the driver - no difference.
Naughty me! I only use my Admin account.
Same result in Edge, Firefox, Cyberfox, Chrome and Internet Explorer.
Hmm, I can't upload there either. Well nothing is happening anyway. I tried virustotal and had no problem, and I can upload images here. Weird!

I might run Tweaking.com Windows Repair and see what happens.

Can you upload to the cloud with DropBox or Microsoft OneDrive?

That doesn't appear to have helped, but I found I can upload with this machine using TOR browser.
I don't use either of those.

OK, I shut all connected devices down, shut down my modem / router, restarted everything and I'm currently uploading a file at wikisend.com using Edge browser.
    Edit: And it uploaded successfully.
