Unable to update antivirus error code (0x101a)

    I keep getting this message!!!!

    Virus Signature Database Update Failed

    Undocumented serious error (0x101a)


    HELP ME!!!!! I NEED TECH SUPPORT.. I emailed Esset and they have not returned my message!!!!!!

    A reboot usually fixes this one... Anyway, see here, here, here or here for the same issue.

    Any word from ESET about this issue? BTW, the threads should be merged.

    Just got this beauty. Unfortunately, there's no entry in the log files. A reboot fixed it.
    If the user doesn't reboot, the database will never update.
