When I use a computer running NOD32 v3 it is able to scan the discs on a NAS called QNAP TS-439 Pro Turbo NAS. When trying to scan the NAS from a computer running NOD32 Business Edition v4 the scan immediately stops and gives the following error:

[4] Object cannot be opened. It may be in use by another application or operating system.

OS on the client running NOD32 v4 is Win 7 Ultimate.

The NAS discs are reported as NTFS.

Is this something that can be cured?

    Thanks

    Found the culprit!

I choose "Scan as Administrator". The Administrator account did not have the drive mapped which made the scan fail. By selecting just "Scan" it worked fine.

    Easy!
