    Hello MrMorrison,

Thank you for using Acronis True Image

Please re-create the media in accordance with the article Starting Acronis Product from USB Flash Drive and see if the issue remains.

If the issue still persists, please create Acronis Booting rescue media on a CD disk and try to boot the system under it. This will help to localize the issue.

    Thank you.

    Hello MrMorrison and Panomar,

Thank you for using Acronis True Image

Please make sure that you are using the latest build available for the version you own. The list is available here

Install the latest build and re-create Acronis Booting Rescue Media on a CD disk. If this doesn't help, let me know the license number via PM, I will provide with an ISO file to create another Acronis Booting Rescue Media based on another loader.

    Thank you.

I have the same problem. This is not very satisfactory considering that one only need to use the boot disk in an emergency, only to find that it doesn't work. Please explain the problem.

    Hello Smiler_VTR,

Thank you for your interesting in Acronis True Image

The issue concerns lack of drivers under Linux environment for particular hardware in your computer. Therefore providing the latest ISO image of Acronis bootable disc solves the issue in most cases.

    Best regards,

Ok, but I have previously used the boot disk on this PC & it worked fine- how can it suddenly be rendered inoperable?

Can you send me the ISO file, I have already sent you a PM.

    Oleg,

I have the latest build downloaded from your web site and created a boot disk. Today I went to restore my system and I get an error message "Unable to load Linux kernel. Press <Enter> to reboot."

Can you please send me the latest ISO boot disk? I cannot restore my hard drive until I can get Acronis True Image to load during bootup.

    Thanks,
    vpatrice

Dmitry, I worked with an Acronis tech last night for about six hours on the Linux kernel error. He had me load a CD with an Acronis bootable image, but problem persisted. Wont I end up with the same problem if I try to boot from a USB flash drive?

    Hello all,

Thank you for using Acronis True Image

If Acronis Booting rescue media is unbootable at your system, you are unable to make bootable USB flash drive also. First of all you should create the appropriate CD that runs flawless, i.e. you should find the appropriate solution for the standalone version of Acronis True Image burned on a CD disk.

    Thank you.
