Hello I have just installed the trial of the exchange backup. I got a MAPI error and followed the instructions in "http://www.acronis.com/support/kb/articles/1065/index.html" and installed the software.

However when I connect with the management console I get:
-Active directory does not availible for the specified user
    - Cannnot create MAPI profile, probably the user does not have a mailbox or microsoft exchange MAPI and CDO are probably out of date.

I tried as domain\administrator and my domain acout which is also an administrator and I still get that message.

    Any sugestions ?
    Server 2008 64bit
    Exchange Server 2007

I experienced this same issue. It is resolved.
Be sure the account you are logging into the agent with has an exchange account and has MAPI enabled under mailbox featuers.

In my case, I had been using the domain administrator account for which I had all features disabled while forwarding emails to my regular user account.

I enabled MAPI, rebooted the server and it works now.

I had the same problem under Windows 2008 and Exchange 2007. I solved it by giving the userid under which I run Acronis the privilege to logon as a batch job in local security settings.
