UD 1.54 is out. Somebody was mentioning some new trix but I couldn't find the change log.

    Any clue ?

No problem, I was curious myself.

It doesn't sound as if there is any benefit for WinXP users.

    Banshee,

I was told by the UD developer that offline de-frag was being worked on and to expect some new trix. He didn't say it would be in the next release though.

UD 1.54 is Super Fast though :)

That's odd, v1.52 is plenty quick on my PCs running WinXP Pro (but then again, it's all black magic)! ;)

Thanks for that news - afaic, that's the one big shortcoming of this defragger and it can't come soon enough!!!

Mixed results here too when it comes to defrag times but not really enough to discourage. Specialized file placements are great for performance and keeps the disk robust!
