And when clicking a name of a poem - any of them- they just jump back to the main page with several hundreds of book titles (?) without names on the outside so it is unfindable to see a possible poem anyhow as they don't say nowhere where the finds from that name can be read at all.
So i keep with the "unsuccessful"

Hm strange it's working for me; here's one

    Hope..
    Don't lose hope
When u have none beside u
    Try to find different ways
    Try to do something new
    Don't lose hope
When everyone hav turned their back
    U hav lots of difficulties
When u go on the right track
    Don't lose hope
When u r trusted by none
    Everyone will b with you
When ur jobs will b done
    Don't lose hope
When watever u do is wrong
    Its sufferings for few moments
    It will not last long
    Don't lose hope
When life u feel has come to end
Coz god is always with u
    As philosopher,guide and friend

He sees evryday all the others
He too wants to b like them
No he cant do wat he wish
And he dunno whom to blame
    He works in a garage
Bz with his different machine parts
He is bz till late at nite
Again early morning his job starts

    Thanks Subratam!
That was a sweet poem! :)
Hope we will see more of you in the future....
Yes, some verses might be interesting to put in a song...
But it has to be abridged a little.
For songs tend to be concise...
    I'll see about it...
I'll talk to my manager Cochise... ;)

OH you would be so kind as to the title of your poems you put in the poems site?

    CU!

    Hey Cochise!

I'll love to sing but I'm afraid my voice is not at his best now. I have the flu presently and a sore throat... :(
Sure, it won't last for always... so I might be better in a couple of days!

    Thanks Detox!

I work in a school with young children and presently about 90% of the kids have gotten the flu!
I just cross my fingers not to catch pneumonia like I did 3 years ago...There are lots of germs presently!
Take precautions but the germs"take" me ANW!

Uguel, sorry your sick. Hope that you get better soon. I'm still working on the song. I was going to put the bands name in it, but since I don't have a decided upon name I can't do it yet. Who's going to decide on the "Official" name for the band? Give me a name and I'll have it done by Monday. :D :D :D

Hey Subratam! There is a nice thread here at the Wilders for putting your poems in. See "I say"

    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=8370

I like your little boy poem best! It's simple, direct but very authentic!
I will also add stg in the thread "I say" I wrote a couple of weeks ago.
Hope that Beetlejuice will join in too! :)

But I have just little time to write poems for I have lots of things to do! Like everyone else I guess!. :)

    TTFN!

    Thanks a lot Beetlejuice!

Well, Beetlejuice I haven't decided of the title but maybe Detox, LWM or FanJ might decide which name is the best...It will also depends of the song we might present...
If it's a sentimental song, then the name of the band might sound soft....
But if it's an energitic song , the name might be more "dynamite"!

But all thing considered...I'll take a nice, sentimental and very short one! You see my voice is soft but rather commonplace!

    Loooooooooooooooooool!!! Very funny Cochise!

Yes I play guitar but I make no claims on how well (I will never be a Segovia!)

I will gladly try to come up with something for you folks to judge on whether it is suitable for the song but don't get your hopes up :doubt:

I'm looking forward with Cochise and everyone else to hearing you sing :) :-*

@Subratum I really like your poems, I look forward to seeing them on the link you gave :)

I'm looking forward to hearing one of your songs.
Never be a Segovia? That's okay for Segovia died in 1987 while "you" are still alive!

Just curious. What kind of guitar have you got?
    Acoustic? Classical? Electric?
What kind of music do you play?

Well, some would dispute the theory that I am alive :D

... I have an Alvarez-Yairi DY-40 acoustic as well as a Martin "Backpacker" model (acoustic with builtin pickup).

I like playing the Stones, Lemonheads, Pink Floyd, Lead Dumpling :D and Neil Young as well as dabble in composing my own songs.

Oh yeah! I like Lead Dumpling too! They wrote the famous
    "escalator to bedlam", right?

    Looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool !!!! :D :D :D

Yes, right you are! But, though I liked that song at first, I was asked so often to play it on guitar while in Highschool I became completely disenchanted with it!

Very good. It's a good sign when people keep asking you to play a piece. I have an acoustic one and a little classical.
I play Celtic stuff mainly. But I'm just an amateur!
LOL! People here use to applaud just when I put the guitar back in it's case! My favourite song I like to play is "Down by the Salley Gardens" Which is based on the poem of the same name by W.B. Yeats. Another song I like is "The Flower of Sweet Strabane" ! :)
