there seems to be a bug when switching from Dark theme to Clear theme, I'm guessing white text on white background as a lot of it is gone.

This happened to me again just now. This was on an initial scan automatically done when the program started.

I sorted again and the programs came back, but all of my community programs are now showing as unsupported programs instead.

Seriously, how are you guys getting this app to work? Nothing listed is aut-updatable for me, which is the whole point.

Everybody is different. The first thing I did was turn off auto-update. I want to be notified of updates, but I want to install them myself.

I can't even get this to manually update though.

I don't manually update within UCheck. I go to the programs web site, downlad the update, and then run the install file.

Have you tried right clicking on the program on the Updates tab and then selecting download and then selecting install?

    Hi n8chavez:

As far as I know the only programs that UCheck can update are Compatible / Installed programs (highlighted in blue on the Installed tab) and Compatible / Portable apps (highlighted in purple on the Portable tab) that are currently listed on the UCheck Software List of 248 supported programs. See my 04-Nov-2023 post # 787 for images and further details.

I noticed that the Updates tab of the latest UCheck Free Portable BETA v5.0.5.0 offered today in post # 996 now displays a check box for outdated Community programs (highlighted in grey on the Installed tab), which is different from the second image in my 04-Nov-2023 post. As far as I know UCheck is still unable to download and install updates for Community programs - the blue Action dropdown for Community programs shown in the image below still doesn't include the option to Update, Download or Install as it would for an outdated Compatible program - so I don't know why those check boxes are now appearing for Community programs in the latest BETA. @Tigzy or someone else will have to explain if the check box for an outdated Community programs is a new feature or a bug in the latest BETA.

Could you go in "Installed" tab to verify if some software are supported.
If you have only community updates available that doesn't mean other software are not recognized, they may just be up-to-date.

As usual, if the update is from day 1 (even hour 1 in this case) you need to be patient for the script to pick up the new version. I can now see they are both updated

Thanks, a line was removed by mistake :D (the other exclusion button was working). It's now fixed.

This is for bulk exclusions, but it's not new to the latest BETA...

Aren't they AFTER the folders, because of sorting ?

Yes, that's known issue. Ideally we would need to rewrite all of the information using different color after theme is changed...

No, this is the complete tree as it is shown in UCheck. No executable in the root is shown:

Could you share the logs ?
EDIT: Actually, can you look into your filters ?

Click on "Open website", find the Official website, download and launch installer.

Maybe it was identified as uninteresting. Can you look into the logs ?
