There is a beta of a new distro called UbuntuDDE with deepin desktop environment. I run it in a Virtualbox and it looks as stunning as the original! It is in beta so of course there are still some bugs. For example some people has reported that unless they do manual partitioning during the install they get error. I had no such problems. In a virtualbox atleast there is a bug (for me) where the shiny windows effects disappear when closing a window or dialog box. Seems like the graphic driver resets. Otherwise it works fine so far (I installed it yesterday) Once the bugs are fixed this one might threaten my install of MX-Linux...the desktop environment are too beautiful not to use https://ubuntudde.com/ *edit* It seems the windows effect problem was Virtualbox related. I switched to VMware Player and everything works just fine.
