I have a subscription to NYT (new york times), with uBlock enabled, I cannot 'sign in' disable & sign in works, also If previously signed in (remember log in) turn uBlock on & am signed out. TrafficLight, MBAM browserguard, do not cause the problem. mbam runs heavy, trafficlight privacy issues. Any ideas how to fix (workaround for ublock?
You don't say how you're using µBO, e.g. filter lists enabled, Easy mode? Medium mode? Maybe better to post your issue in the µBO thread.
Login for free NYT account works w/out any issue on Firefox 71.0 w/ uBO v1.24.2 and default filter lists only. When I click "subscribe", it shows another "log in" button at the top right, click it on and enter credentials just bring me back to its front page w/ some parameter. Regardless of the click, I'm still logged in as a free user. Question: can you log in as a free account user? If subscription login is diff from free login, it's hard for us to reproduce so in the worst case you need to PM me or @okiehsch w/ request logs attached, but it might include some personal info such as your NYT subscription email or other PII. Also please test w/ a fresh browser profile and fresh uBO install w/out any tweaks, and note exact browser and uBO version. If the problem persists, try to narrow down the culprit by tuning each subscription filter off one after another.
Strange Bizarre Fix - In my email NYT, was "What to Cook Tonight", clicked recipe, FF default browser opened & logged into NYT, FF has uBlock0, went to Chrome where I normally read NYT. Enable uB0, sure enough cannot log in. Every single item on Chromes uBlock0 filters section, was out of date. Updated, closed Chrome reopened & it works fine now. Thanks you guys got me looking in the right spot
