    as the extension is no longer available i cant have a look into. it may be leggit when passed the internal quality assurance, or a manual review because of its name. or it may have been reported earlier because of a fake or nickname whatever. the amo workers are reliable, no doubt. in special when "ublock" as a keyword is appearing the reviewers are warned. there is more in background working as regular users might think.

    Exactly my point, it must have been a malicious extension because otherwise they wouldn't have removed it.

    And yes, I know about the recommended extensions, but that doesn't mean that you should be at risk with all other extensions. BTW, can you reproduce what I said about the element picker not remembering all rules that are made?

    I have a question after switching to Chrome for speed and stability reasons.

    With uBoL (+Chrome), the Cover You Track test gives you:

    Blocking tracking ads? Partial protection.
    Blocking invisible trackers? Partial protection.
