    You find rules for those trackers on
    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/K...list/refs/heads/master/Personal_Blocklist.txt

    Edit:
    This is Kees1958 personal blocklist. Later on I checked
    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Kees1958/W3C_annual_most_used_survey_blocklist/refs/heads/master/EU_US_MV3_most_common_ad+tracking_networks.txt
    That list contains the rules:
    ||ads.pubmatic.com^$third-party
    ||fwmrm.net^$third-party,~xmlhttprequest

    So I don't see the problem. Different from Peter Lowe, Kees1958 doesn't block hosts.

    All ~127 of them? :eek:

    OK, I checked the first one: `act-on.com`: Still active.
    Code:
    https://connect.act-on.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023761094-Tracking-and-Cookies-Overview
    The second one (`ad-delivery.net`): present in `EasyList` and `Peter Lowe’s Ad and tracking server list`.
    Code:
    https://www.ghostery.com/whotracksme/trackers/ad-delivery.net
    Maybe Kees has found that the trackers he removed are not used on many sites any more?

    Probably because Edge and FF block them with their own tracking protection.

    Rule in Kees1958 filterlist:
    ||ad-delivery.net^$third-party

    Rule in EasyList:
    ||ad-delivery.net^

    They serve different purposes.

    I just don't get it...
    Most of this is already in uBO stock lists.
    Example in `uBlock filters – Privacy`:
    Code:
    ! Redirect to neutered Google Analytics
    ||google-analytics.com/analytics.js$script,redirect=google-analytics_analytics.js:5
    And:
    Code:
    ||google-analytics.com/cx/api.js$script,redirect=google-analytics.com/cx/api.js:5
    ...
    ||google-analytics.com/ga.js$script,redirect=google-analytics.com/ga.js:5

    That's true.
    The rule in EasyList is a bit to broad.
    It blocks the whole domain. No issue for me though. :)
    When opened with uBO disabled it gives an xml document (screenshot).

    With uBO on: this.

    In my opinion Kees1958 is thinking to himself because he is not using the usual filters of uBlock Origin.
    I might as well delete his filter list for my DNS filter which blocks probably over 80% of his list.
    See what he writes here:

    https://github.com/Kees1958/W3C_ann...mmit/2cdcec89f4eb582c52015b21bddd60c5cae03fb0

    I always recommend opening an issue.

    Of course, because he's always believed in the efficacy of a minimalist method of ad and tracker blocking. If a user doesn't follow that logic, then it makes no sense to use his list.

    You may have noticed, he changes his read.me often. It currently says, in part,
    I also noticed this change:
    And he discontinued his smaller list for Edge & FF some time ago.

    I did a quick test.
    No, this does not happen:

    https://ibb.co/PV3MDhB

    https://ibb.co/GQw3z84m

    With my filter lists + DNS filters Kees1958's list, although in a few cases, is still needed.

    Another minimalist list is
    https://gitlab.com/quidsup/notrack-blocklists
    While this repo is closed re: issues, and not actively maintained, it continues to receive his automated updates to the list. It's also significantly larger than @Kees1958, because it includes ads and trackers, and is currently under 16,000.

    Several things from pathfactory are blocked by EasyPrivacy.
    Others are not blocked. Maybe legitimate ones.

    Firefox itself blocks a fingerprinter.

    It does not appear to me,from your image that this third-party script:

    Code:
    https://cdn-app.pathfactory.com/production/jukebox/current/jukebox.js

    that is blocked by Kees1958's list:

    Code:
    ||pathfactory.com^$third-party
    is blocked by EP.
    I don't use EP filter list.

    `jukebox.js` is not blocked, because it is needed for page functionality (?)
    I tried to read it, but it is ~1.4MB. :eek:

    I still get the impression that Kees his list is blocking to much.

    How can it serve the functionality of the web page if it is also blocked by Privacy Badgers?

    Look at the image above with the red arrow in post #8717.

    I unchecked uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger blocks jukebox.pathfactory in 6 sense.com.

    It is a third party tracker,it should be blocked.

    I opened an issue at EasyList. :)
    Now, lets hope I get a definitive answer. There are a lot of unanswered issues there...

    I apologize for the delay in responding but only today I had a chance to analyze more.

    I'll include you in the image below the CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing) error from Firefox that blocks (with uBlock origin disabled) jukebox.pathfactory:

    https://ibb.co/YFTntTrr

    Firefox's policy is a security mechanism that in a nutshell prevents access to resources from a different (3-p) origin.

    If I had used Edge (with uBlock Origin disabled) I would have gotten a DNS-level block:

    Edge:

    https://ibb.co/JWX7WBFH

    So in my opinion Kees1958's list is right in the 3-p block.
