uBO's own filterlists seem to be maintained. Who does this?

    You can see here:
    https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/commits/master/

    @Sampei Nihira
I noticed that as well and I’m also a bit worried.
There was always an update of the dev build every few days.
Since 1.62.1b1 there have only been a few commits to the source.
    Last one on Jan. 19.

Gorhill's activity has stopped since then.

    It is.
I remember the early dialogues with G.Maone (Giorgio is 9 years younger than me,so Gorhill is also not a boy) that inspired in Gorhill the later development of uBlock Origin.
    The years pass for everyone........

    P.S.
If I am not mistaken, the activity in X has also been at a standstill since January 12.

I did another anti-trackers test with the help of Privacy Badger at this website:

    https://www.dailydot.com/

you need to check if your browser's internal anti-tracker protection or uBlock Origin blocks these 3 trackers which from the images below with Firefox would seem to be blocked only by PB:

    1

    https://ibb.co/hFvXGW3S

    2

    https://ibb.co/JFH8ZqRM

    3

    https://ibb.co/HTHHTR3c

I did a test in Edge and my DNS level filter lists block the 3 trackers.

    P.S.

The test again shows that Firefox's anti-tracker protection is more restrictive than Edge's anti-tracker protection.

    @nicolaasjan

    I would have Raymond's email.
I haven't written to him yet and I assume I won't write to him because I'm afraid of disturbing him too much if he is struggling with a personal or medical problem.

What would you do if you were in my place?

sit back and wait. think about that you are not the only one. what would you think if you were on vacation, or ill, or in hospital, to get bombed with uncertain mails for nuts?
easiest way will be github. if he can, or its time, he will tell - or not.

    me2, but
my personal css list against consent is long, and its follow-up issues like overflow.

I was able to fix the issue by deleting all my tvline custom rules, but I'm not sure why that worked. I can't see what was allowed to give me that popunder. Strange, but I've been getting a lot more of these lately on many other sites.

    Recently Edge added Scareware protection.
For those who want to add such protection to other browsers, a list of filters is available:

    https://github.com/durablenapkin/scamblocklist

This list of filters can be subscribed directly in AG browser extension also version 5.x.

Doesn't appears to work in Firefox uBlock. I tested with a few domains in the list and none were blocked by it.

I tested and it works fine in FF ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I screwed up and didn't add the filter list properly. It now blocks properly.

DNS-level protection is fully functional by subscribing to the indicated filter lists:

This list is not auto updating for me in Firefox.

    Hi,
you can open an issue here:

    https://github.com/durablenapkin/scamblocklist/issues

in the meantime if you click with your mouse on the clock icon you can force the filter list to be updated.;):thumb:

Yes, this is the TPL I am using.

What I did notice today is the list after manual update does show an expire date of 1 day which was not the case previously. As such, I hope the issue has been resolved.

    Hmm...
`pubmatic.com` was removed, but this server is still operational.
It is listed in `Peter Lowe’s Ad and tracking server list` and in `EasyList`.

    Same for `fwmrm.net`.
