this will happen to all mv2 extensions of that type (with a star or recommended). why pushing an extension which is not usable in 7 months? and removed.

Thanks, and can you guys try again with Tesla? What happens with me is that if I leave it open (so without scrolling down), the stockquote won't refresh after a few minutes. When I scroll down and up again, then it comes to life again.

And keep in mind that when you scroll down, realtime stockquotes will be visible in the left of the screen (with small graph). Strangely enough, this always seems to work. BTW, First Solar does get refreshed, very weird stuff.

As Stupendous Man said both pages keep being refreshed on Firefox-esr 128.5.1 + Ublock Origin 1.61.2 + NextDNS CLI 1.43.5 system wide.

OK thanks, this is extremely weird stuff. I'm getting to see this problem on both Firefox and Vivaldi, but I now see it even happens with uBlock disabled? I'm guessing it's a website error. Yesterday I noticed, that Tesla keeps refreshing just fine, but as soon as you scroll down and up, it will stop. So I don't think it's uBlock's fault anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if you guys eventually will see the same.

I tried both yahoo!finance pages again.
This time, I see that nothing is being refreshed, scrolling makes no difference, neither does refreshing the page using Ctrl+F5.
Again, using Firefox 133.0 and uBlock Origin 161.2. I haven't tried disabling uBlock Origin.
    Weird stuff it is.

My bad, I should have told you that you can only test this during the week when markets are open. :p

Wall Street is open between 15.30PM and 22.00PM (Monday till Friday), Dutch time. But perhaps next week you can test Tesla one more time, and then scroll down and up a bit to see if it stops refreshing.

Nevertheless, it can't be a problem with uBlock since I saw the same with all adblocking disabled. I don't think my TinyWall firewall plays a role. I do block certain domains via SpyShelter, but this shouldn't play a role either, because otherwise quote streaming wouldn't work at all.

Who says that this stuff can't be implemented into uBlock MV3?

But anyway, I was trying to figure out if this new feature is more related to network rules or cosmetic rules, in case it's the latter, then uBlock MV3 should be able to implement such a thing.

Otherwise I will ask Vivaldi to implement this stuff in the built-in adblocker. What this ''procedural filtering'' stuff does is to give you even more options to block annoying stuff, that can't be blocked via standard cosmetic filters, if I understood correctly.

Guys, I totally forgot to ask about this mind boggling issue. I have tried everything to make it work, but once again I can't load embedded Twitter content on this page when uBlock Origin is enabled.

I have tried to allow certain scripts via the matrix, but it doesn't help. It's a Dutch financial website with news about the stock market. I have the problem on both Vivaldi and Firefox, perhaps you guys can figure this one out.

OK cool, then I assume this has also been implemented in uBlock Origin. However, I still get the problem with annoying blank spaces, never understood why, hopefully this feature can be improved. I haven't tried it in uBlock Lite, since it's not good enough.

I wonder if ''procedural cosmetic filtering'' can also block certain text on this page? Because with the current ''element picker'' you won't be able to solve this problem. I wonder if you can input stuff to block yourself?

I would like to block this text based advertisement:

thats part of the article, no option.
the element of headline is #h-claim-10-gratis-en-maak-kans-op-400-in-ethereum-eth

but for element p you need something link this
and this is very, VERY, special.

    advertisers are not stupid.

The thing is, you can remove this text based ad with the element picker, but it's not possible to make a global rule, and it might remove text of the article itself in certain cases. So that's why I wondered if ''procedural cosmetic filtering'' could help with this. If you could simply make uBlock Origin block ''the claim €10 euro'' text it would solve the problem.

BTW, I have somehow managed to solve this problem. All of a sudden it seems to be a problem related to the ''My filters'' rules, but I could have sworn I already tested this, because it's always the first thing that you check. And on Firefox I didn't even create any rules with the element picker, so I guess it remains a mystery.

I tried these three filer rules, separately:

    www.fetchtv.com.au##.info-banner.ftv
    www.fetchtv.com.au##div.ng-scope.banner
    www.fetchtv.com.au##.position-bottom.banner-wrap

    All three work.
I don't know if one is better than the other.
