    I was not even aware that in the browsers are blocklists. ;) So personally I did not block anything (outside of uBlock Origin). But if you tell me where I can find the lists, I can check it.

    Click the highlighted icon on the left side of the URL bar and disable tracking protection. Chrome/Brave/Vivaldi are similar.

    Ah, thanks.

    I disabled tracking protection in Firefox:

    [IMG]

    No difference. (cloudflare.net still in uBlock origin).

    In Chrome it seems that tracking protection cannot be changed in this way. So I went to the settings ("Privacy and security" --> "Cookies and other site data") where the option for tracking protection "Send a 'Do not track' request with your browsing traffic" was disabled anyway. So for testing I enabled it. Also no difference. (cloudflare.net fortunately not here).

    discogs - no problem here with uBo and uMatrix together, i see images.

    but what i miss is the "Ressource von Drittseiten, InlineScripte, Scripte der aktuellen Seite" are plain, blank, not greyed (noop) or allowed.

    i dont see CF here, but i miss "cookielaw.org" in your list, which needs "noop".

    and i miss "lngtd.com" noop on your image(s)
    i think you filter content elsewhere, not only in ublock - turn it off and let ublock do the better work.

    With Firefox?

    I don't remember if the (light) grey in my case was by default or if I have changed the setting at some time in the past. Anyway it has become my standard without causing troubles.

    The third party URLs change often in case of discogs. A short time before I had made the screenshots they were partly different for me too. I have no idea what is going on in such cases. ;) But "cloudflare.net" was all the time here - and is here still now. But as mentioned, only in Firefox, not in Chrome. "cookielaw.org" and "lngtd.com" are in my images. And they are not allowed anyway as long as they are light grey. Correct?

    I am not aware of using anything else that could filter content. (Formerly I had used NoScript but never parallel with uBlock Origin. It is disabled.)

    _____________

    PS:

    Concerning Discogs and Cloudflare I just found out that there seems to be a general technical problem. Here a recent (quite technical) thread about it in the Discogs-Forum:
    https://www.discogs.com/de/forum/thread/863968

    A member of the Discogs Team writes there:

    And on their support pages they write:
    (https://support.discogs.com/hc/de/articles/360004623634-Prozessor-Liste )
    The strange thing is that the website (discogs.com) seems to work in some browsers respectively for some users (still?) without interference of Cloudflare and for others not. The result is obviously the appearance of its URL in uBlock Origin or not.

    I try to explain with an image this may help to understand.

    https://www.directupload.net/file/d/6162/k5ydlgdi_png.htm

    see what I have set to noop and which domains are connected.

    cookielaw is GDPR/DSGVO - and sometimes mandatory.

    That's why I assume another filtering instance because they are not shown on your images. Although I use a moderate hosts file for windows I can see them and I don't have any issue with discogs (see image) and this is my current "default" setting. cookielaw and others have been added lately otherwise some sites won't work as expected. Even if you don't see a dialog its connection is mandatory/vital to work with sites. cookielaw seems not the reason for missing preview images, also lngtd.com not. (temporary blocked).

    So it seems to be a rule or filter in your settings.

    @Brummelchen:

    Thanks for the image.

    As you also say, cookielaw and Ingtd are not the reason for missing thumbnails (and missing dropdown list). The reason is clearly cloudflare, and the strange thing is that I have it in the window of uBlock Origin whereas you don't have it.

    I cannot imagine what it could be. As they write at Discogs "We're working on moving some of the site to being fronted by CloudFlare" (see the quote above) perhaps this is a process implemented gradually for certain IP-addresses/countries respectively browsers. (I obviously did not have Cloudflare too in the past in connection with Discogs, because thumbnails and dropdownlist had worked for me also without problems.)

    when uncloak canonical server names ("Kanonische Namen enthüllen") is activated i don't see images at all, even the search function is not working. cloudflare.net appears and need to be set to "allow" (green) here. this is one reason because i dont use uncloaking - it shows me the server/service/cdn behind but at least it makes filtering to complicated. CF com/net and any CF service (eg ssl) is/was blocked by default in the past here because of spreading malware sites with a valid ssl cert (!) CF as cdn behind is not blocked, but the direct domain is blocked.

    Code:
    * cloudflare.com * block
    * ajax.cloudflare.com * noop
    * cdnjs.cloudflare.com * noop
    * cloudflaressl.com * block
    * cloudfront.com * block
    * cloudfront.net * block

    cloudflaressl.com * * block
    cloudfront.com * * block
    cloudfront.net * * block

    www.discogs.com cloudflare.net * allow

    last line is result of uncloaking, otherwise not needed, you may have luck with noop, i need allow because of other rules above.

    Wow, you showed me the solution. :thumb:

    I made a look in my settings of uBlock Origin. Indeed "Uncloak canonical names" ("Kanonische Namen enthüllen") was activated. I disabled it and Discogs works fine now again. No longer "cloudflare.net" in the window of uBlock Origin, no problem in seeing the dropdown list or the thumbnail pictures at Discogs.

    As I had mentioned above, I am not acquainted with the details of uBlock Origin and so up to now I did not pay any attention to this feature. In the information about the uBlock settings (https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/wiki/Dashboard:-Settings#uncloak-canonical-names) I read that it is enabled by default. Moreover they write there:

    This explains why I had no similar problems with Google Chrome.

    Brummelchen, many thanks for dealing with my problem and especially for your so useful information. :) By myself I would have never this found out.

    you are welcome.

    //
    I mentioned uncloaking here before when it arrived and had disabled it. And I am still on the older (more compact) design to maintain my configuration. gorhill did well when inserting uncloaking as a general setting.

    I got 92% as well.
    After blocking the following, I got 100%:

    Code:
    ||widgets.pinterest.com^$xhr
    ||analytics.pinterest.com^$xhr
    ||adsdk.yandex.ru^$xhr
    ||extmaps-api.yandex.net^$xhr
    ||yandexadexchange.net^$xhr

    It is not an optimal result to reach 100% in an artifactual way.;)
    For example, if I disable UBO and leave only Noscript active I reach 100%:

    100a.JPG

    But it is also not an optimal result because it breaks the web compatibility.

    On my smartphone I use Android Opera browser, and I am very satisfied with the 45% I achieve.:thumb::)
    I have other priorities with smartphon than pc.

    P.S.

    Even this test must be taken for what it is, that is, only a test.
    If I carry out more tests in sequence with the only Noscript, without closing the browser I obtain a result always different and almost always inferior to the previous one.:thumbd:

    I know, but I was curious what had been let through.
    And I will keep these in "My Filters", because these trackers will be present on other pages as well, I guess.

    With uMatrix active, I reached 100% as well. :)

    Another method to get 100% is to use:

    https://controld.com/

    (Block Malware + Ads)

    you can completely disable UBO.

    It seems a bit too simple.

    I did some tests with Noscript off + UBO off and AdGuard DNS,Quad9 DNS,ControLD (malware + ads).
    All DNS get a very good result.

    Those who made the test with DNS that have trackers blocking capabilities got an untrue result.

    If you run the test with AdGuard DNS "Non-filtering" with UBO disabled you get a good result.
    In my opinion the test is rather unreliable.

    P.S.

    My goal is to get 0%.
    But I just can't do it.:(:thumbd:

    It was an okay test to see if something slipped past your configuration and maybe you want to block that by adding a rule or a filter.
    But now that the filter maintainers noticed that test and anybody can score 100%, the test is useless now.
    Maybe the test had its purpose by alerting the filter maintainers that not everything that should be blocked was blocked...

    P.S. Even with no filters you can't get 0%? :doubt:

    No.
    With Chrome I get the minimum:

    16%.

    With my NM28 browser even more.
    A green part but all the red trackers.
    Absurd.

    It should be 0%.
    The test is therefore unreliable

    uBlock is best :D
    Better than 100% :
    Code:
    uBlock Origin hat das Laden der folgenden Seite verhindert:

    https://d3ward.github.io/toolz/

    Aufgrund des folgenden Filters

    ||io^$document

    ~strike~

    I run Ublock with FF and I tried to block the cookie consent.google.com to avoid to get the google pop up from google search site.

    Unfortunately, I still get this damned pop up.

    My google filters :

    google.*##.widget-consent-fullscreen.widget-consent
    google.*##.wwYr3.aID8W.bErdLd
    google.*##.aID8W.m114nf.t7xA6
    google.*##div[jsname][jsaction^="dg_close"]
    google.*##html:style(overflow: visible !important;)
    google.*##+js(aeld, DOMContentLoaded, CONSENT)
    google.*###lb

    google.*##div[owner][jsowner] > div[jsname][aria-hidden]
    google.*##div[class][role="dialog"][tabindex]
    google.*##div[owner] > div[class]:has(div[class][role="button"])

    1-st party scripts and 3-rd party, both blocked.
    3-rd party scripts blocked with Umatrix

    You can try the Consent Blocker extension, which works for the redirect now as well. :)

    This add-on doesn't work for me. I even tried older versions but it can't stop the google consent page.
