The CHEF-KOCH lists are regularly inserted in:

    https://filterlists.com/

With all my filters only 20 are redundant:

    500.JPG

I did a test with Scriptsafe.
The Canvas Fonts Fingerprinting is not present on many websites of the list.
    Present on the website below:

If you use medium mode, noop s0.2mdn.net, akamized.net, imasdk.googleapis.com, lib.rtl.nl, and static.rtl.nl. (I recommend globally noop the former 3 while locally noop the last 2.)
If you use anti-social type of filter, it might interfere with the video. Make sure all domains I listed show "+" only on ublock lane (no "-").
This should work on 1.16.8 unless your other filter interfere with it. That case show your filter sets.

Yes, gorhill earned our trust but Rasheed asked about Chris' version.
Long story short, he inherited uBlock but then he didn't do his job well, repeated only superficial change to make it look as if he'd committed much to the project. On the other hand, he solicited donation widely. So it appears he just wanted to make $$$ by using gorhill's product.

    re: Chrome
even with uBlock Origin 1.16.18 and uBlock Origin Extra disabled thru Extensions. I had to toggle my "Block third-party cookies" On to Off... to view video.

    Hmm...
I just registered here to say the same as you did:D
Allowing third party cookies is indeed the solution.
Isn't there a way to allow these third party cookies only for specific sites?

Ah! That should be the culprit! I forgot I had disabled "block 3rd party cookie" all before this.
That doesn't work in this case. Even when you add 2mdn.net & imasdk.googleapis.com to cookie whitelist, 3rd party cookie won't be allowed.

Yeah, maybe third-party cookies are random. IDK
Yeah, I'll usually toggle On to Off. Since, I'm sandbox'd....toggle easy...for me.

I read, but you know, what Chris did is not only requiring donation. As I said, I leave detailed explanation to others who have better lang than me.
I haven't used Palemoon but in Firefox you can do almost the same thing. Click left side of url bar instead of right. In the latest Firefox you have to open "Secure connection" pane first. Then go to per-site setting. IDK if it's same for Palemoon, but in older Firefox it was easier.

@bjm_ and @142395 :thumb: Many, many thanks. You solved my problem!
It was indeed related to 3rd party cookie blocking.
The website is rtlnieuws.nl but the content is from rtl.nl
The solution is to allow [*.]rtl.nl and set is to Clear on exit:

    Wrt uBlockO v1.17.0

If in Advanced Mode and I enabled the JS master switch do I still need to enable to block 3rd-party scripts?
Are 3rd-party scripts and JS identical? I believe not, right?

    Thanks

Confirmed that works, so bjm_ was right! Sorry my bad.:(

No, if you block 3rd party scripts, any 1st party JS will be allowed.
I'll use master switch differently (more of default-allow mode) so I keep 3rd party scripts blocked.

Wow, thanks for sharing. It's still vague for me how best to find certain settings when encountering circumstances like this so this really is useful and informative. UBlock is really been a HUGE help in tamping down crammed noisy websites.

Yeah, really enlightening! I confirmed I can watch some other embedded videos which also require 3rd party cookie this way so no need to disable blocking 3rd party cookie anymore.
When I last tried (IDK when it was) it appeared didn't work, but probably I whitelisted wrong cookie.
    Thank you @Gandalf_The_Grey & @bjm_ !:thumb:
