There is no id ending with "banner-nag" on that page, I don't know where you got that one. Maybe a rather old (and thus obsolete) filter? There is an id "frb-nag" however.

Yes, just how dumb can you be to make videos auto play. And now they even harass you with the video staying on top, while you're trying to read the article, it doesn't make any sense. This is the exact same reason why ad-blockers were invented, because of these idiots.

I assume it only works on this specific page, and not globally.

 

Been testing it yesterday and today, so far nags are gone.

Could you implement a notification mechanism when an update gets installed? I precisely need a way to get notified when an extension in my Chrome browser gets updated. Usually I noticed when doing some routine maintenance by chance. Some extensions already do but uBlock Origin, uBlock Origin Extra, etc, don't.

After the update Chrome indicates that uBlock Origin 1.13.0 is corrupted.

Version 1.13.2 is out, but not yet live on the chrome store to fix this issue:

More specifically, this is due to a Chromium bug, see #2720 (comment).

 

1.13.2 is out on Chrome Store which fix the corrupt problem.

 

Some people have lost all custom rules after it was updated to v1.13.0
But it has been fixed now

 

Thankfully I always export/backup my lists/rules as I make a single little change...

 

Today happened again. I don't want to be ungrateful @gorhill , on the contrary I appreciate and thanks alot your hard work. But your extension was updated without any notice. I don't mind if Chrome downloads and install it. Just a balloon or any sort of notification remaining open until I close it.

Are you serious? I like to know when something new gets into my computer, although this software in particular is safe and trusted, I like to be notified as I always run my OS under shadow mode (Shadow Defender). If a new extension update is fine, it stays permanently in my system, so I run in normal mode, let extensions to update, a lil cleanup, then run OS again in shadow mode.

Just installed the uBlock Protector extension in Chrome but can't install it in latest Opera or Yandex browsers, just says it needs Chrome 59. Will it be made compatible soon?

I was using the script with violentmonkey extension in Chrome, Opera & Yandex browsers. Now the protector extension is separate but only works in Chrome so far.

 

ublock protector is not from raymond, why should he or we care in this thread? please start a new one.

Why was the gear "Settings" icon removed in 1.13.4? Seems like a rather backward change now needing more clicks to access the settings.
