    Hi Gorhill. I dont need an extra filter or Easy list to block googletagservices.com as I blacklist it with NoScript. You can see it in my blaklist (done based on my personal case use) in the picture below. I dont get pages broken or unusable or anti blockers. In the future, I ll check your filters as I told you I would when the time is right.

    googletagservices is whitelisted in my hosts (allow) but no rule in uBo
    google-analytics (seen on your list) is allow for some domains, dont work without.

    I don't visit any site that needs it. If I did, I wouldn't blacklist it. But leave it blocked as is by default by NoScript. And temporarily allow it if required. By the way, what you see in the picture is about 12% of my blacklist, most of it is to the right of the screen and doesn't appear in the picture :). Quickly, 3 examples of sites I visit that don't require google-analytics, it can be blacklisted and sites work fine: tinyupload.com, translate.google.com/, virustotal.com/en/.

    The "uBlock filters - Privacy" list contains rules for both cases.

    Try to add this filter:
    Code:
    ||shelterstraw.com$script,domain=www.addictivetips.com,important

    You can also just block shelterstraw.com from uBlock's interface.

    It seems this list is not sufficient to block all wikipedia's banners. There's a donation banner popping up anew:
    Code:
    wikipedia.org##.nag-trigger
    wikipedia.org###centralNotice
    wikipedia.org##[id$=“banner-nag”]

    The last filter is wrong, you need to use ASCII double quotes, not non-ASCII curly ones.

    Like these ones?
    Code:
    wikipedia.org##[id$="banner-nag"]
    If so, banners are still coming out...

    Edit: So it seems to be fixed now. I had to restart the browser (Chrome) and now they're gone.

    @gorhill Thanks a lot.

    Spoke too soon, changing ASCII double quotes didn't work out.

    You need to provide an exact URL and what exactly on the page you want to remove. I can't see anything resembling an element matching that filter when surfing to random pages on wikipedia.

    Here a screenshot. Guess issue is region related though:
    nag banner.png

    https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megadeth

    There you go, however problem randomly appears browsing on any page in wikipedia.

    That is not an ad.

    Yesterday i have visited several pages but i have never encountered such a donation banner. It could be "region related".
    If i had a spanish IP i could investigate further ;)

    No matter what I try, I can't get this request for donation. You will need to look at the markup using dev tools to find out that there is really an element with an id ending with "banner-nag". Also, something else to confirm: is the banner really from Wikipedia?

    It's regional in the sense that one region will have it for a few weeks, then another region and so forth.
    Unless you travel a lot, then you won't see it more than a couple of weeks each year.

    Are you taking about the video that pops up playing below right when you're scrolling down ?
    If so, then this filter hides it for me
    Code:
    www.dailymail.co.uk##.vjs-flyout-wrapper-absolute
    but remember it's only hiding, it does get loaded in the background anyway, perhaps someone else has a better solution ?

    Yes exactly, it's so freaking annoying. And your filter does indeed work, thanks. The only problem is that the video isn't visible and can't be played at all. This has to be one of the worst designed sites ever. I'm not talking about the look, but about the amount of scripts.
