Yesterday i built the ubcd4win. ( for no paticular reason ) Today i booted from it, and had a look round.I opened SAS, which i had updated, prior to creating the cd. I cant remember exactly, but SAS appeared to be trying to update.I did not run a scan. When I rebooted without the cd,my Pro version (on the pc )of SAS had reverted to the free version
Has anyone got any idea what happened. Or had similar experiences

Making UBCD4WIN is a messy business. You are placing all of the utilities onto your hardrive to create the CD - so my guess is you have overwritten the SAS original install with the UBCD4WIN one. Also, check your system for Spybot S&D, it usually adds all the default protections, like HOSTS files addresses and so on. I got around this by making UBCD4WIN with Shawdow Defender's shadow mode on, so rebooting dumps all the software (nearly 2gb) down the drain.
