    Hello,

This morning I got an UAC prompt from Webroot at startup, after my answer webroot loaded correctly (so it seems).

I use Win7 Home Premium 32 bit with UAC turned to maximum and Webroot complete.

Tried a reboot and all started without giving me any prompt as usual.

The system is up this way from the beginning (we're talking about months without any prompt and this exact configuration) and I never got something similar and nothing changed since last night, when I got no UAC prompt as usual, and this morning in PC configuration or PC updates.

I wonder if someone has had the same issue and what the cause can be........

    Thanks in advance

Most likely you logged in very fast. ^.^

The UAC prompt occurs on login if the WRSA service is not running yet when the Run keys trigger in the registry when you log in.

If you did NOT log in really fast when Windows was loading (disk activity was still occurring and services were starting up), then something removed the service entry or damaged it. Other security software can do that. WSA just fixes itself in those cases.

The software still operates from a very deep section of startup, pretty much right after the Windows 7 logo swirls in on the animation, so you're still protected at the kernel level during this time. The service and user mode processes are just the main way to interact with you.
