DrWeb works great with the on-demand AT, Trojan Remover. Trojan Remover now does incremental updates so it's a decent & low-priced option to BOClean.

I do NOT surf porn sites {I don't even own a pornograph to play them on} but my email from visitors to my websites gets me 30 or more trojans and/or worms per day lately. Not one has ever gotten past DRW, so Trojan Remover never really gets tested.

If I EVER feel the need to go to an industrial strength AT, I'm sold on the classiness of BOClean -- both the program and the programmer.

I run drweb and extendias AVK together with BoClean with no problems, with the exclusions FF used. Drweb and AVK not at the same time.

So in you experience DrWeb is enough to recognize many trojans? Do you know how many trojans its database collects?

I read on Gladiator Forum that Trojan Remover doesn't recognize all those trojans judged "old" by the programmer.

@Bellgamin: Trojan Remover hasn't a real time protection. Is this a serius weakness? Or Spider is enough?

    To c0ltran3 from Firefighter!

I have not observed any other conflicts with BOClean than that, when u have selected DrWeb's memory scanner option, it doesn't stay on anymore when u have opened DrWeb GUI again.

    Best regards,
    Firefighter!

No. I just know that DRW catches lots of them on my computer. I forgot to mention earlier that I also run RegRun, which is yet another protection against worms & trojans. I would RAVE at length about the merits of RegRun, but it's too far off-thread.

I haven't heard that particular rumor. As I said, it's hard to test an AT on my computer because DrWeb does such a good job.

I know its not the origianl topic, but anywho. My spIDer guard icon in the win task bar always resets itself to "hide when inactive" after rebboting, even after I set it to "always show" anyone else have this problem?

Have installed the latest versions of both DrWeb and BOClean on 3 home computers with no problems. No exclusions used in DrWeb or BOClean on any of the computers.

Yes, the same 'bug' on my XP Pro system here. Not seen all the time though.

It's a bit of a pain as I always have to check that the SpiderGuard is still running and has not been taken down by some malware.
