Two free one-year licenses for Faronics software

Received a bit of shock today when I opened my email. I purchased Faronics Anti-Executable version 1 several years ago, never bothered to update to version two. Got two emails from faronics today each entitled "Faronics License Added Notification".

One said this: Your account has been updated to grant access to the following
software that has been added to your account in Faronics LABS.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx - Deep Freeze STD ON Subscription Lic 1yr

The other said this: Your account has been updated to grant access to the following
software that has been added to your account in Faronics LABS.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx- Anti-Executable STD ON Subscription Lic 1yr

EDIT: I went into my Faronics account, had not been there in over 4 years, sure enough there are 2 one-year licenses waiting for me to use.

 

Have you tried their anti-executable lately? Also, did your email mention anything about a coupon code others can use during purchase?

 

NO, I haven't used AE since the original version 1 which I still use on WinXP that is in a VM. No, there was no coupon code. I guess my original version 1 had a lifetime license, none of the one-year stuff.
