I've resisted it just fine, so have millions of others.
Yes I agree...for me tobacco is irresistable, beyond comparison. A 205 person study wouldn't seem enough to make a valid deduction imo.
Yes, I know which I would prefer between tweeting & a good real ale! Tweeting's for the birds ...
Still, The Guardian needs something to write about these days I suppose when Charlie Brooker is on holiday.
Well... if you told me "Twitter causes cancer" I might "quit" lol
So... if one smokes... there comes a study saying we can't "resist"... If one drinks alcohol... one more study saying we can't "resist"...
What's best? Drunks, smokers or twitters?
I say, vive la resistance!!
If only criminals would spend all their time on Facebook or Twitter, we'd be living on a better world... If these can resist, so can we!!! We must try!
People who drink sensibly, enjoy an occasional cigar & don't tweet?
All three are potentially dangerous. A drunkard, second-hand smoke, and texting while driving are all life-threatening. There are benefits for moderate amounts and specially-engineered smokes though.
