Twitter is harder to resist than cigarettes and alcohol, study finds

    Yes I agree...for me tobacco is irresistable, beyond comparison. A 205 person study wouldn't seem enough to make a valid deduction imo.

    Yes, I know which I would prefer between tweeting & a good real ale! ;) Tweeting's for the birds ...

    Still, The Guardian needs something to write about these days I suppose when Charlie Brooker is on holiday.

    So... if one smokes... there comes a study saying we can't "resist"... If one drinks alcohol... one more study saying we can't "resist"...

    What's best? Drunks, smokers or twitters? :D

    I say, vive la resistance!! :D

    If only criminals would spend all their time on Facebook or Twitter, we'd be living on a better world... If these can resist, so can we!!! We must try!

    All three are potentially dangerous. A drunkard, second-hand smoke, and texting while driving are all life-threatening. There are benefits for moderate amounts and specially-engineered smokes though.
